Jemma S – Deputy Manager
Jemma is the Deputy Manager after working with us as a Care Co-Ordinator since 2021. She joined us at Flourish Homecare in September 2020. Jemma has worked in care for 8 years and in that time has progressed through her career to become Deputy Manager at a lightning speed and in that time has gained experience in elderly care, working with people with Learning Disabilities and palliative care.
Jemma is currently working towards her level 5 in Health and Social Care.
Jemma is a very sociable person and likes being around people, she lives locally with her dog Bella and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Jemma is a great support to all our staff and is here to help with anything she can to make life easier for our carers and clients.
Amie - Registered Area Manager
Amie has been in the role of Manager since 2023 after stepping up from being the Deputy Manager. She has been with Flourish Homecare since September 2020. Amie has worked in care for 18 years, she has experience in working in elderly care, dementia and Palliative care.
Amie is originally from The Midlands but has lived in Cornwall with her husband and her dog Bruno for 5 years; Bruno has become the Flourish mascot. Amie enjoys being near the sea and loves going out on her paddleboard.
Amie is looking forward to supporting our clients in her Manage’rs role and to moving the company forward with our Outreach programme and introducing Flourish Holidays.
Jemma M - Head of Care
Jemma has recently taken on the role Head of Care & Outreach after moving up from the Care Co-Ordinator role. She has been working with us as a carer since 2015 and she has just celebrated her 10 years of service with us. Jemma has worked in care for 15 years and has a lot of experience in elderly care, working with people with Dementia and dealing with end-of-life care.
Jemma has recently achieved her Level 3 in Health and Social Care and is looking to go on to achieving her Level 5 to help our staff and clients further.
Jemma lives locally with her husband, 2 sons and her dog Reggie. She enjoys living near the sea and going paddle boarding and has become an expert quite quickly.
Jemma is an asset to us as Head of Care & Outreach and has settled in to her new role really well and she looks forward to assisting our carers and clients.
Tracey S – Office Manager
Tracey is our Office Manager after being our Administrator and Finance Clerk since 2016. Tracey came to us from a training and teaching background and as well as dealing with the office administration she is also responsible for the training of our staff and well as the finances of the company. Tracey is an asset to the company having previously worked as an NVQ assessor and is a great support to our staff who are completing qualifications in Health and Social Care. Tracey is a very organised person and it has been said if Tracey doesn’t have it, then it doesn’t exist.
Tracey has lived locally her whole life and lives with her husband and son and she is a very creative person and enjoys crafting.
Tracey is looking forward to going out to meet all our clients over the coming months and she is happy to help you with any queries you may have.
Anne G – Care Co-Ordinator
Anne has been with us at Flourish Homecare since 2017 as a care and moved to the role of Senior carer in March 2021 and is now one of our Care Co-Ordinators since December 2023, however Anne has worked in care for 32 years in both care homes and domiciliary care and has so much experience that makes her a great asset to us. Her experience is in elderly care, dementia and working with people with end-of-life care.
Anne is currently working towards her Level 4 in Health and Social Care.
Anne lives locally with her husband and 2 daughters and is part of the local Amateur Dramatics and each year is involved in a panto where she helps out as a chaperone. Anne enjoys reading and binge-watching TV shows.
Anne is a great support to our carers and her knowledge and experience makes her a great person to go to for any guidance.
Chloe C – Care Co-Ordinator
Chloe joined Flourish Homecare in June 2024 as a carer and has now progressed to the role of Care Co-Ordinator since October 2024. Chloe has worked in care for 6 years and has worked in both care homes and domiciliary carer and has worked with Learning disabilities, Autism and the elderly.
Chloe is looking to develop her knowledge and skills further and will be starting her qualifications in Health and social care.
Chloe enjoys going on holidays abroad in particular going to the sun. she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Chloe has joined us with a lot of experience in the care sector and is an asset to us and will be a great support to both our clients and carers.
Georgie – Care Co-Ordinator
Georgie joined Flourish Homecare in March 2022 as a carer and then progressed onto the role of Senior Carer. After taking a short break from us she returned to us in March 2024 as a carer and progressed into the role of Care Co-Ordinator in July 2024. Georgie has worked in care for 7 years and has worked in both care homes and domiciliary carer and has worked with Learning disabilities, Spinal injuries, Dementia care and elderly Care.
Georgie lives locally with her partner and 5 children and variety of animals. She enjoys spending time with the children and going to the beach, binge watching TV and reading.
Georgie has joined us with a lot of experience in the care sector and is keen to develop her knowledge and skills to enable her to further her understanding within her role.
Sophie A – Care Co-Ordinator
Sophie has recently taken on the role of Care Co-Ordinator after staring with us in February 2024 as a Senior carer. Sophie has worked in care for 4 years and has previously worked as a support worker, worked in care homes and in domiciliary care. Her experience comes from working in elderly care and working with people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
Sophie is from Cornwall and she lives locally with partner, her son, daughter and 2 dogs. Sophie loves spending time with her family and in particularly her children where she like to watch films and enjoys getting out and about in the summer months. She also has a fondness of buying stationery.
Sophie has been a great asset to our team and has enjoyed working with our clients and her colleagues.
